Delivery & Returns


We deliver products to more than 2000 cities (more than 10000 pin codes) in India using third-party courier services. Deliveries of products through this website are available only for Indian mailing addresses.

There could be some pin codes where we do not deliver. Customers are requested to provide alternate mailing addresses where deliveries can be effected.

COD Policy

  • Pin codes provided for COD (Cash on Delivery) service should be in the serviceable area only. If the pin code location does not come under the COD serviceable area, then other online payment modes needs to be used for making the payments.
  • No credit/debit cards are accepted in the COD (Cash on Delivery) orders.
  • Do not open the box without making the payment at the time of delivery.
  • If the customer is not willing to pay for COD order, the delivery person shall not deliver the product in first place. In such a situation, the parcel shall not be opened. If the customer insists on opening the parcel on any pretext and then decides to return the garment, the delivery person is duty-bound to collect the payment and, subsequently, due procedure of returns as given above is to be followed.

Cancellation Policy

West by East reserves the right to cancel any order without any explanation for doing so, as per the circumstances where the requirement could not be met.

The company will ensure that any communication/correspondence of cancellation of an order or any applicable refund will be made in reasonable time.

Customer can cancel the order within 24 hours once ordered.

Returns Policy

Customers are requested to return the product free of charge within 7 days of delivery, as per procedure outlined below under ‘Returns Procedure’. The day of delivery would not be counted in counting these 7 days. Any return after expiry of the 7 day time period would not be accepted.

Our reverse pick-up facility is currently available in selected locations, which fall under the service network of our courier partners.

Self-Ship: In case your pin code is not serviced by our partner, you will have to self-ship the product(s) back to us, to reach our returns department.The self-ship address is as follows:

The returns will be inspected and if the product(s) is/are found to be damaged/used/stained/dusted or defective, then the return request will not be applicable and there will be no refund.

We follow a liberal returns policy with due checks and balances to ensure that returns are genuine.

All returned items must be unused and unwashed for any hygiene reasons, and returned with original packaging and tags in place. Items without tags will not be accepted.

Shipping charges shall be non-refundable.

If the reverse pick up is unsuccessful after 3 attempts or more than 7 days after the pickup was initiated, the return or refund request will be cancelled. Similarly, if the product is self-shipped and has not been dispatched from the customer after 7 days of refund initiation, refund request will be cancelled.

Returns Procedure

Returns process would be initiated by making a call to the customer service number provided on this website or by email to returns@westbyeast.com quoting the transaction ID.

The delivery person is not authorized to take the returns directly from the customers when he has come to deliver the product.

Refunds Policy

Refunds would begin to be processed after receiving the product from the customers in good and unused condition. Customers are required to notify us of the returns by calling or emailing us. Generally, it would take about 10 days for processing refunds and returning the money to customers.

In case of payment made through any medium other than cash-on-delivery (COD), the refunds towards the sold product would be processed through same medium in which the payment was made.

So, if payment is made by Credit Cards, the refunds will be credited to the credit card account which has been used to make the payment.

If payment is done through Debit Cards or Net Banking, refunds will be credited to the bank account directly.

If payment is done in Cash, refunded amount would be sent through cheque at the provided mailing address.

Customer can cancel the order within 24 hours once ordered. We try and deliver our orders within 5-9 working days depending upon the location.
